Pound joined Charlotte Rotary in 1948, is a Paul Harris Fellow, and is the Club's current member with the longest perfect attendance: over 48 years. Pickard joined Charlotte Rotary in 1947 and is a Paul Harris Fellow.

Johnston, a member of Charlotte Rotary, heads the Adult Literacy Program at Central Piedmont Community College and appeared in the Literacy video which was shown during the Annual Joint Meeting today. Wilson, a native North Carolinian and linguist who has studied and worked in Europe, is a practicing architect and teaches architecture at University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Clubs in Mecklenburg County. He was introduced by Harris,
former Mayor of Charlotte and former president of Charlotte
Rotary Club who has also served as a Chairman of the North Carolina
State Board of Education. Johnston, director of the adult
literacy programs at Central Piedmont Community College, appeared
in the literacy video shown during today's luncheon. Smith
is Superintendent of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools
